Tehshin Akhtar is an Indian actress who mostly works in the Assamese film industry. She was born in Shillong in Meghalaya. She is currently living in Guwahati in Assam from where she overlooks her work. Along with being an actress, she is also a singer. She is immensely popular in Assam. She gained her fame from the daily soap Bharaghar, where she works along side with many characters as a supporting cast.
The show is a comedy and airs on the Rang Channel, which is televised in Assam. She has also appeared in many Assamese music videos. Her most applauded appearance was in the video Savvi Sabarwal’s Parchaiyaan – Nila Nila.
