Aindrita Ray is an accomplished Indian actress predominantly recognized for her work in Kannada cinema. Born on March 3, 1985, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, into a Bengali family, she spent her childhood in various places due to her father's profession in the Indian Air Force, eventually settling in Bangalore. She completed her education at Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore and pursued a bachelor's degree in dental science from M. R. Ambedkar Dental College while simultaneously engaging in part-time modeling and appearing in television commercials.

Ray's journey in the entertainment industry began with her debut appearance in the Kannada film "Meravanige" in 2007, which marked the beginning of her successful career. Her notable breakthrough came with her role as Devika, a mentally challenged girl, in the critically acclaimed movie "Manasaare," earning her widespread recognition and accolades.
