Nazriya Nazim


 Nazriya Nazim is a celebrated Indian actress and former television presenter known for her work in both Malayalam and Tamil cinema. Born on December 20, 1994, she is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Filmfare Award South, two Kerala State Film Awards, and one Tamil Nadu State Film Award.

She commenced her career as an anchor on Malayalam television channel Asianet before stepping into the realm of acting. Her initial foray into acting began as a child artist with the movie "Palunku" in 2006. Her debut as a lead actress came in the 2013 Malayalam film "Maad Dad." Since then, she has appeared in several successful films such as "Neram" (2013), "Raja Rani" (2013), "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana" (2014), and "Bangalore Days" (2014).

After her marriage to actor Fahadh Faasil, she took a break from acting but returned to the big screen in 2018 with Anjali Menon's movie "Koode." Nazriya's remarkable performances and versatile acting skills have garnered appreciation from both critics and audiences alike.

Nazriya was born to Nazimuddeen and Begum Beena and grew up in Al Ain, UAE, before relocating to Thiruvananthapuram. She completed her schooling at Our Own English High School in Al Ain and Christ Nagar School in Thiruvananthapuram. She later joined Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram but had to leave due to her busy shooting schedules.

Her career journey began as an anchor in a television quiz show, after which she ventured into acting as a child artist in "Palunku." She further cemented her place in the industry with notable roles in movies like "Neram," "Raja Rani," and "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana."

Nazriya's comeback to films post-marriage was marked by her appearance in the film "Koode." She continued her acting career with films like "Trance" (2020) and made her Telugu debut with "Ante Sundaraniki" alongside Nani in 2022.

Her personal life gained attention when she announced her engagement and subsequent marriage to Malayalam film actor Fahadh Faasil in 2014. Their bond grew stronger while working together on the set of "Bangalore Days," where they played the roles of husband and wife.

Throughout her career, Nazriya Nazim has left an indelible mark on the South Indian film industry, impressing audiences with her talent, charm, and versatility as an actress.
