Nimisha Sajayan is a versatile Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. Born in Mumbai to parents originally from Kollam district, Kerala, Nimisha attended Carmel Convent School and later graduated from KJ Somaiya College, Mumbai.
Her acting journey commenced with the film "Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum," directed by Dileesh Pothan. Nimisha garnered attention for her performance in various movies, notably portraying the lead role in "Eeda," helmed by editor B. Ajithk and Rajeev Ravi. Her exceptional acting prowess was recognized when she received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2019 for her roles in "Oru Kuprasidha Payyan" directed by Madhupal and "Chola" directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.
